What works for us.

One of the first things that we needed to figure out was our plan. Without a plan, there is nothing. So if you haven’t started on this yet, make sure you go back to read our “Finding your person” blog post. We go into how your person for your journey to passive income and wealth does not need to be your spouse, but in our case, it was; and certainly makes life a lot of fun when it is your spouse. That being said, the show must go on. An important aspect of the plan is “who does what". For us, we made a list of things that each of us were good at, and a list of things that challenged each of us. Once we knew our strengths and weaknesses personally, we could mix and match these, figure out if one of our personal weaknesses was a strength of our partner, and then we could count that as a strength overall. We come together, create a list of our team strengths and weaknesses, of which the weaknesses were lessened once we put our brains together.

At this point, we have a clear path on what it is that we most need to work on to round out our successes, but also where we can put two of our strengths together to drive forward and emphasize in order to make major headway into our wealth goals. Becoming a well rounded investor is important for diversification purposes, but also knowing what you’re good at, and exploiting that strength may be just as important. Take that and run with it. If you have questions on it, reach out, and we can help you create your personalized SWOT analysis and get you headed in the right direction!
